First, I'm in no way related to anyone at the restaurant! I was overniting in the area on my way to a further destination and this restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel clerk. Had a great experience. Food was delicious, service was friendly and prompt, portions were large enough for leftovers, even after a day of hiking. Totally enjoyed my shrimp hibachi, as well as the dessert which was a banana caramel cheesecake in a sort of spring roll shell. Only shortcoming was that the waitress did not ask me if i'd like anything else before she dropped the bill at my table, while assuring me there was no rush. Since I did want to know about desserts, I asked her, she checked re availability before she told me what they had, and she quickly picked up the old bill and put in my dessert order. I wish I'd eaten here again the 2nd nite I was in the area...
What a surprise find. Kids loved it and begged to come back. Surprisingly reasonable pricing (though not as good as the menu in the photos here). We had crab Rangoons (very tasty), chicken and steak hibachi and drunken noodles. I was not a fan of my drunken noodles (but had never tried the dish before). Service was good and a manager did ask how our food was.
So at first our impression was not great, started off with a fruit fly in our drink and the waitress seemed kinda rude about it. We just brushed it off and moved on - there was a big party with a lot of kids so I think she was just stressed out. The food entirely made up for it though. Seriously what an incredible value and quality. I got so much more salmon than I thought would come with the yakisoba and it tasted great. My husband also enjoyed his bento box! We each got salad which came with the ginger dressing (they couldn't do miso soup because they were out of ingredients) Even though it started off rocky this place was a pretty solid spot
I had hibachi chicken/shrimp on Saturday afternoon. It was very good. I would definitely order this dish again. On Monday evening I had the Lava Roll and a Thai tea drink. I would definitely order these again too. Wife had similar dishes except with tofu as she is a vegan. She would order her dishes again, too.
YES.! Just looking at it makes me soo hungry. Kobe Asian Fusion This would make a great dish to have for dinner.
